I don't have a lot of hair to work with at this point, but they would have a blast with your beautiful hair as they could do anything. (Not that your hubby would be happy about it though!)Nikihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15305455757443569181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35920098.post-47763205416097486622010-08-17T12:37:10.563-07:002010-08-17T12:37:10.563-07:00Yes, it is hard to be objective about ones own fas...Yes, it is hard to be objective about ones own fashion sense, I think. But I'll try! ;) My answer to your question is kind of a middle ground. I'm not some fashion queen who is following all the latest trends, but I would also like to think that I have a style that is flattering, contemporary, classy and cool at the same time. Is that possible? Like I don't want to look like a teen mom (not possible) but I also still want to be cool. (And I LOVE my "bug" sunglasses a whole bunch, btw!! ;))

In the last year, as I've shrunk and had to replace most of my wardrobe, I've got to choose clothes and figure out what I like. Most of my shopping was done at Thrift stores, and I always made sure I took "cool" and "honest" friends with me so they could help me figure out what works and what doesn't. I think this is the key. Find some friends who you think fit that bill (have a style you like and who can be honest with you about what looks good on YOUR body), and let them help you. Your own personal Clinton and Stacy, if you will. Who can help you choose stuff you might not have otherwise that is current and fun and flattering.

My husband has actually done this before too, and taken a few stylish college friends to help him shop. Not that I'm not cool enough, but it always seems to be stressful between us figuring out what works for him on stage as a worship leader.

There you have it! Wisdom from Niki. ;) I got kinda long winded on that one, eh?Nikihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15305455757443569181noreply@blogger.com
