Sometimes as a parent I feel like a ship alone in the night. As the primary disciplinarian, the day to day caregiver and chief wiper (I wipe noses, bums and counters ya'll) I feel like I'm the only one on this journey called parenthood. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about Corey, he helps when he's home, he loves and cares for our kids when he can but the reality of our life is, I'm generally the one home with the kids.
And it's not just in parenting the kids that I feel alone, it's sometimes in the choices I make as a parent that leave me feeling as such. It's a rude awakening when you realize there is no such "Bible of Babies" to guide you through this journey, just prayer, luck and a good gut instinct.
I was having a moment a few weeks ago that prompted me to write THIS post. Mamapedia has picked it up and you can go over HERE to read it. Take a gander and then let me know what you think, either here or there.
The big question is, do you, as a parent feel as though sometimes you are the smelly cheese alone in the room?

I've been lucky because when the kids were babies, I was at home, but Matthew worked from home...so we were both there all day long. And now we both work and both balance our time.
It's not the case for many, though.
