A Dance Party of the Potty Variety!

I think it is safe to say, that we have officially reach potty trained status with Bethany!

It has been a very, very, very long process, one that at times has felt like a battle.  She's been peeing well on the potty for at least 6 months but the pooping part of it, well that was another story.  Normally, it's a story I'd share and complain about, I'd look for sympathy and all those other things that us Mommies who are at our wits end need, but not today.  She's going to read this blog one day, and I don't want to hurt her feelings.  So I'll just say it was a PAIN IN THE BUTT - in more ways than one.

Anyways, we've made it though and I'm so proud of her.  She's still needing a Pull-Up at night but hey, that takes time.  We're in no rush to push her, she wakes up some nights to go pee and other mornings she'll wake up totally dry.  I'm happy with that.

However, we are still in the land of pull-ups and diapers.  Audrey's no where near being trained (and um, No I have not started trying) and B still wears her PU's at night.  So when we were given the opprotunity to host a Pull-Ups Dance Party, we jumped on it!  (You can get all the details over HERE at our new review blog!  A post about that coming soon)

We planned, we organized, we sort of tidied up and then it was here.  The day of the Par-Tay had arrived and the kids were excited.  So was the mommy.

A bunch of our good friends and fellow PTs (Potty Trainers) came over with their brood in tow to dance, shake their booties and eat!  We needed to refuel so homemade buns with meat and cheese along with do it yourself sundays were on the menu.

It was awesome, we had so much fun!  The potty dance song....slighlty annoying but the joy the kids had doing it was well worth every moment.  Bethany and Audrey had so much fun that they were begging to watch it again and again and again.  I drew the line at the 3rd "again Mommy!"

As is the case whenever we get together with the people we love and enjoy, we had a wonderful time and are already planning another get together.  This one though, will not have a "potty" theme!
