Still here!

Yes, we are still here. I can't believe how quickly the past few weeks has flown. It seems that Bethany isn't the only one who eats, sleeps and poops...hmmm maybe that's a little too much information. However it seems like the truth, when I'm not spending my time taking care of our little bundle, I'm trying to keep on top of the house, make dinner or catch a few winks. Life's just a little crazy.

Bethany is 6 weeks on Tuesday and she's changing daily. I can't believe the progress she has made this past week alone. My mom was here for the week and we have watched Beth become more and more alert. She definately has an awake playtime now and a sleep time. She's no longer my cute little slug but rather a beautiful, alive, excited little person. I love it!!!! It's so much fun.

I bought her one of those activity mats with the toys that hang last weekend and it's her new favorite place to be. I was a little concerned she wouldn't like it but boy was I wrong. Prior to the mat she had her bouncy chair that she loved and a few toys but nothing so exciting! She lays on the floor for extended periods of time lookin' and talking to her new friends. What a great thing to watch and be part of. Who knew I'd be so taken with her?! We tried the swing before but she screamed. Not cried...screamed at the top of her little lungs, I think she was motion sick. Like mother, like daughter - I can't even go the faris Wheel without a barf bag. Hopefully as she grows she'll develope her daddy's steal stomach. If not we can hang on the sidelines together and watch those crazy, thrill seekin' riders.

So for those of you concerned we dropped of the face of the earth, rest assured, we are still alive and kickin'. Please be patient with us and keep checkin' our little blog, the updates are coming, I promise. They just might be a little spaced out for awhile. Take care All!
