Saturday Science

It was Saturday and we needed something to do. We were already in the city, Bethany had been EXCELLENT while we hauled her on some errands and it was time to reward her with something fun. The weather sucked hugely so the park was out, then came to mind Science World.

Would she like it? Would it be long and boring for her with things only for older kids? Would the crowds make me want to crawl into the stroller with Audrey?

Only one way to find out...

Learning to build a circuit

We had an awesome time! There was a toddler section for Bethany to play in, she got to dance on a huge piano and learned about different animals in the nature section. The dinosaur he was huge! There was also something for Corey...

All of the above was constructed out of Lego, he was in HEAVEN! Click on the photos to see the larger version of each incredible display. I'm pretty sure after we left I heard Corey say, "See! Lego can be your job!"

It was a wonderful decision to go, well worth the money spent and a great way to spend a Saturday. Audrey was there too, she was just sleeping most of the time so we kinda missed getting her in a shot. We hardly captured any of the moments on camera, we were kinda too busy playing.

Oh I am sooo happy Bethany is now at at age where she can enjoy Science World. There are so many fun things to do their. I remember the first time I went into the Imax, scared the living daylights out of me. They had a show on sharks, and I was convinced they were coming straight at me, so I would duck. I would hold off on the shark shows with the girls for awhile :)
I will let my brothers know there is a display of lego, they would LOVE that. Remember, most of them are full grown men. LOL. Hey, did you get your hair cut? Looks cute :)

Oh man, I wish I was there with you guys. It looks like you had fun, and even Bethany. Did Corey go home and pull out his lego? Bethany is growing up so fast. Can't wait to see you all. Love you lots, Mom Kimmie
