Christmas Giveaway #3 - It's a Mystery to Me!

CONTEST CLOSED

And the winner is Caren! Congratulations Carren!

Caren said...

I would love to be surprised on the holidays, birthdays or whatever. Actually, since my family consists of a bunch of lousy liars, it would surprise me if they manage to get something past me to surprise me with something special(a good kind of special). And under those circumstances, woudn't that be a welcome surprise!

Send me an e-mail ashleystone7 (at) hotmail (dot) com with your mailing info and your surprise will be on it's way!

Merry Christmas!

*Note: The Contest Winner for Christmas Giveaway 2 is up, click the link to see who won!*

So here we are, less than 2 weeks away from Christmas. I'm in a little bit of shock! I can't believe that next Friday (not the one coming up) we will be eating turkey, opening packages and watching Christmas through the eyes of our children. Then it will be over.

But it's not over yet because it's time for our CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY #3! Everybody having fun with these? Anybody sick of signing in over here finding out about yet another "Free Prize"?

This week was a toughie. I mean, I know what I want to do next week as my final Huzzah! But this week, it's the 3rd one and much like the "forgotten" middle child in a 3 bunch crew (not that you forget your middle child, it's an analogy) I was a little stumped. Do I send Christmas baking? A box of Shortbread, Biscotti, GingerSnaps and Chocolate Peppermint hearts? Do I do something else, more creative, more unique? Anyone for Reindeer droppings or Snowman poop? No? Hmmm.

Then it hit me, a mystery gift! I mean we don't know what's under the tree until we open it (unless you are one of the party poopers who sneaks a peak...) so why not have a prize that's a surprise until you receive it?! The anticipation will abound!

I'll give you two hints. Hint #1 - This prize will be an adult prize, while it may have some things included that suit for your children too, it will be geared to the crowd of legal age (not that you need to be of legal age to win or consume it but just, well...you know what I mean. No kid stuff here) Hint #2 - This prize will be awesome...of course!

And since I'm in the hinting mood, I will tell you that the prize next week is a two fold prize! That's right people 2. Fold!!! So keep checking back, there will be clues to be found on each post from here until next Monday :)

*I am not always a surprise lover. There are very strict requirements for a surprise to please me. Good surprises include flowers (check Corey does that often), back rubs from Corey (check again), presents from anybody and kind gestures. Bad Surprises included surprise parties (I HATE THOSE), back rubs from strangers or vague aquaintences (Don't touch me. Ever. Period), presents that are found in a diaper - not good. This is a Good Surprise! I promise!

clue: I absolutely love (and when I say love I mean in the Ashlee Simpson "L-O-L-O-L-O-L-O-V-E" kind of way) ketchup on caesar salad.

I love surprises. Mostly because I'm pretty hard to surprise. :)

I love surprises at Christmas because it lends to the magical element of the season but during the rest of the year not so much.

Surprises are generally fun as long as they don't involve things that I'm expected to do (so surprise packages are fun, but surprise parties aren't).

I like to be surprised but it doesn't happen very often, especially when it comes to presents because well... My mom doesn't read this does she??... I like to snoop!

I love surprises, especially when it is a complete and totally surprise! I have a habit of figuring it out before hand, so to pull one over on me is a tough thing to do.

I also posted on my facebook status!

I absolutely love surprises. I love throwing surprise parties for people, although I never seem to get one one in return...(hint hint to my hubby). We didn't find out the sex of either of our kids because we wanted it to be a "surprise"!!! I love scary movies, which in a roundabout way is being surprised. Being a mother of little ones right now...peek-a-boo is a great game of surprise that is played in my house quite often these days...

I LOVE surprises at Christmas time. I'm more excited about giving the surprises though. It's so awesome to see another's face when they get something they aren't expecting.

I'm kinda torn on surprise. Yes, I like good ones that are fun and not TOO surprising! If you that makes any sense.

Yay for mystery giveaways. I'm so curious. And hoping I win! This is my time I think! ;)
