Back the Truck Up

Last weekend, Corey took on a task I secretly (or not so secretly) wish he wouldn't have.  He decided to rebuild the transmission in his Blazer.  It's a long story that is still a sore spot so I don't want to talk about it.

The upside to the weekend was that Scott was here to help Corey.  When it comes to wrenching, Corey's left arm is his brother.  They grew up working on vehicles together, they learned together, they made mistakes together and it is "their thing".  I've seen them tinker before but this past weekend I was able to watch them really work.  It's amazing how well they meld, it's a true tribute to the relationship they have.

And aside from just watching them work, us girls got to visit with Chelsea, Chloe and Hailey.  They showed up as a surprise on Saturday morning and while I don't like surprises AT ALL, it was good to get to visit, so just this once I let it slide :).  We haven't seen them since the summer and I couldn't believe how much Chloe had grown.

I know my girls have grown but it's always hard to remember that other peoples kids grow too.  I don't have much exciting to report, but I do have a few then and now photos to share, to show you all just how fast time flies.

It was great to visit, the kids needed to play and we needed to catch up and catch photos.  The weekend and the Tranny was a little more of a bust.

I'll leave you with a blurb from my Facebook status, just so you understand the sore spot...
Dear Blazer (I wrote Jimmy but DUH it's a Blazer),
Back the truck up!  If you don't I will have to introduce you to my friends gas can and match.  They have a volitile relationship.

Those are beautiful pictures and writing. It makes my heart sing when I hear what a great time you all have when together. It goes to show that we just don't get together often enough. I miss you all so much and can't wait to see you. God bless you all,
Love Mom/grandma Kimmie
